Meet one of my besties, Julia!
We met when both of our husbands were studying at Duke. I remember when she stood up in Relief Society to introduce herself. I almost thought she was messing with me because it was the same introduction I gave a few months earlier.
-From Utah - Check
-Work remotely from home office - Check
-Work for a software company in Utah - Check
-Husband studying at Duke - Check

I also immediately noticed her great sense of fashion. I pretty much knew we'd be besties.

We had so much fun in Durham! We got to experience Duke Men's Basketball win the National Championship together, we made the same friends and we just had the time of our life! Her husband, Matthew, graduate in 2015 from Duke Law and a few months later they moved to London for his job. It was very bittersweet. I was so happy they landed such a great opportunity but I knew I wouldn't get to see her very much due to distance. The summer they moved to London, they actually stayed in our townhouse with us for a little while they made preparations to head home for the summer. So we were legit roommates for a little bit! The 4 of us would have late night chats and during the days, Julia and I would work from home together. It was a party!

A month or so ago after Daniel graduated, we went to Europe to celebrate. I made sure one of our stops was in London so we could see the wonderful Lowes. The few days we were in London were the best!

Fast forward a few weeks to our most recent reunion, this time in Utah!! We recently moved back and Julia planned a trip home to visit friends and family. From our dinner chats on her mom's balcony to singing karaoke at a bar, we had a blast! Marie and I didn't start this blog until after Julie had moved to London but I knew I always wanted to feature her and her cute style! So of course we made time to do a mini photoshoot at her house!

Check out some of our favorite looks we're rocking this Fall!

Julia's look-
Julia got most of these pieces from Nordstrom Rack and I have to say that they are perfect for Fall!
It's all about the details!
It's great how the right sweater can both be comfy and classy!
Get her look:

My look-
A little staple dress can go such a long way!
I pull out this mustard dress every Fall because it goes well with so many different accessories
I am loving these two colors for Fall right now.
I swapped my scarf blanket for a boyfriend flannel which I ended up wearing when we went to the bar for karaoke. I love this look!
So simple and comfortable. My two favorite things.

Comfy, cute and simple for the win, right?!

I'm so excited to be dropping by the blog!! Andrea is sweet enough to let me post about my favorite products, parties, and DIY projects when I have a quick second!! Watch out for "This Week with Marie" because this means I'm posting on one of my obsessions!!

If you haven't noticed yet... I'm in love with art and family photos on the wall!! About a year ago, I purchased a metal print from Groupon. Throughout the last year, I've taken the time to decide if it's a must have, or a product you can live without.

A metal print is actually exactly how it sounds. Rather than printing on a canvas material, or glossy paper, they print directly on metal!! Crazy, right?!

These prints are awesome because they're basically indestructible! I can't tell you how many times my husband has been playing fetch with the dog and knocked this photo off the wall. With all of the tough love we give it, it still looks the exact same as the day I recieved it in the mail.

One of my favorite things about these prints are the way they look on your wall. They are so different than anything else. Although the shine made it a little tricky to snap a photo for you, it makes it look amazing on your wall!
The company I order mine through was called Printerpix, and they are currently not running any groupings. Although they aren't, there are a few other companies that have metal prints on Groupon. Check them out!! Just make sure you read the fine print since some companies require you to pay shipping which can add a pretty penny to your price.

Basically what I'm saying is, check it out!! Groupon didn't disappoint me with this one and I've loved our metal print!!

Find them on Groupon, here.

Comfort + Style

Hey Hey Hey its Natalia!
I’m wicked excited about sharing my latest shopping experience and some other fashion advice with you! So lets get started!!
I’m gonna talk about a couple of things I look forward to in clothes and shopping in general. For me, I like to look for two important things in clothing: comfort + style. What’s the point of buying a cute outfit if it’s uncomfortable? Exactly! There is no point! That's why I purchase comfortable jeans or soft everyday pants. I’m also a huge sucker for incredible deals! I love the amazing feeling of feeling accomplished when you find something super cute on sale. Lots of the clothes I buy are both super cute and super cheap. I remember finding the cutest pair of black high waisted shorts from Pac Sun one day for $3. They’re adorable and I’ve had them for like 2 years now!

Now on to my recent shopping trip, a couple of days ago I went to a warehouse sale courtesy of Agnes+Dora. Even though I arrived late, there were still plenty of awesome options left. There were a variety of different patterned skirts, dresses, shirts and leggings/pants. For me it was hard not to go crazy and buy everything, it was that good. Their prices ranged from $2-$25. It was a crazy sale and I think that was a big factor in me LOVING it. I managed to grab myself a couple of cute items: shirt, skirt, pants, etc.
You see these pants right here? These are the infamous Harlem pants. Cute right? It's the beauty of comfort and style all together!
I paired these lovely patterned Harlem pants with a simple white v-neck , a pair of coral flats and a loose gold colored necklace. A simple cute/ easy outfit that you can wear whenever and wherever!
Shout out to Agnes+Dora for having by far the COMFIEST and cheapest pants ($2) I’ve ever owned. EXTREME STEAL!

Next up!
I'm in LOVE with this fun Agnes+ Dora shirt!
I mean how much cuter can it get? First off, it's a lovely crème shirt with black polka dots and a bright red collar and it was only 8 bucks, STEAL.
I was pretty obsessed with the shirt that I COULD not wait one more day to wear it. So being me, I wore it to school the next day! Lovely right!?
I matched my cute shirt with a pair of simple black high waisted shorts (also tucked my shirt in). To top it all off, I wore my black and white converse and a couple of cute mismatched bracelets.

And finally... this cute pencil skirt!
Pencil skirts are my go to skirts for a formal event and most especially those church Sundays!
Let me just start by saying I might have a slight obsession with anything floral, just look at my closet! so when I spotted this adorable pink and black floral skirt, I was in skirt heaven! I jumped at the chance and I bought it!
I paired my floral skirt with a cute grey pocket tee tucked in, a simple black H&M necklace, some mismatched bracelets and a pair of black high heels.
Now here’s the thing about these Agnes+Dora pencil skirts. There are so many cute patterns and they're completely modest! How many cute pencil skirts do you find that are modest, cute and comfortable? I mean it’s cool if I wear it to church every Sunday right!?
If you guys haven’t checked out Agnes+Dora, you’re missing out. Go check out their stylish modest clothing! Its something you won’t regret!
