Hey loves!

So Daniel and I joined some friends for a fun and wild weekend in Las Vegas recently. What happens in Vegas usually stays in Vegas but when your outfit game is on point then you gotta share! Thanks to my friends at Tobi.com, I had a fab wardrobe that went from day to evening.
I got a bunch of questions from my Insta Story about where I got some of my clothes. Well I have come prepared with links, ladies! I didn't get amazing pictures of my outfits in Vegas so my #InstagramHusband and I did a quick little photoshoot for you all. He's the real MVP!

I wore this one on our wildest night out! Be My Beauty Cold Shoulder Romper.
Get it here.

Paired with platform sandals from Target. Got to love Target!
Milo felt the need to be in some of these....
But I'm not complaining!!

I love cardigans and I love bodysuits. I have long legs and a short torso so whenever I can make my torso appear longer, I'm game! Both bodysuits and cardigans help with that!

Outfit details below:)
First let's start with the cardi. Go long here! Pick a color that you know you could pair with other items in your closet. If you're not a pink girl then get a different color. Just get something you love!

Here are some similar styles:
I'm obsessed with bodysuits because I love the tucked in look. You never have to think twice about your shirt bunching or coming untucked. It's pretty great!

Pair the outfit with your favorite pair of jeans and some cute booties and you are golden!

Business casual.
That is probably my favorite type of dress code. I am in meetings all the time so I want to make sure I always look presentable. I feel my best and therefore perform my best. Business casual is also pretty forgiving! One simple piece can really make it. Blazers are perfect examples. Add a blazer to a casual look and all of a sudden you have a business casual look! But as much as I love blazers, today we're highlighting another statement piece - neck tie blouses! Bonus points for floral because who doesn't love floral in the winter?!
Here are some similar styles to my floral top:

Aaaand for the pants:

Last but not least, some fun booties:

Boom! Business casual!
What's your favorite business casual look?

So I received a bunch of DMs about where I got pieces of my outfit. I seriously LOVE hearing from you guys so please continue sending me messages! I'll do my best to always reply:)
Ok so yesterday was a cold snowy day in most places. There was still a lot of snow here in Utah and it was like 10 degrees when we woke up. But with it being Saturday, we knew we needed to continue our house hunting and run a few other errands. Like most people, I like being comfy but I wanted to look cute as well. Also throw in that I was on day 4 hair so a hat was a must!
Outfit details below:
Note: I love a good deal and most of my clothes are very affordable. I will also make sure to do my best to find affordable options for you as well.

Oversized sweater.
I could seriously just live in this sweater. I personally also love the v-neck because it makes the sweater a little more unique.

Pleather leggings.
I've had these leggings for a while now. They are nice and stretchy and super comfy.

Slip on sneakers.
I've had my eyes on these for a while now. They are comfortable and they pretty much go with everything.

Hat.
Whether it's a bad hair day or not, I'm a fan of baseball hats!

Choker.
Most of my jewelry is still packed away, so I've probably worn my choker way too ofter. They can make any outfit a little edgier.

Give this outfit a try! Stay comfy and warm, my friends!

I'm a little behind on this one but I've gotten a few requests so better late than never!
I am loving this green color for Fall. It's like a forest green. To be completely honest, I probably hated this color growing up, but one thing I've noticed as I get older, my fashion taste gets a little bolder.
Find your perfect green dress below:

I paired this dress with one of my favorite hats that I'm getting ready to put it away for the season.
You can find similar hats below:

Fall also means the booties come out! I am a big fan of booties. I think short boots are very flattering on everyone. Check out some similar styles here:

You may have these pieces in your closet already. If not, they are great staples to have in your collection. Give this combo a try!

Meet one of my besties, Julia!
We met when both of our husbands were studying at Duke. I remember when she stood up in Relief Society to introduce herself. I almost thought she was messing with me because it was the same introduction I gave a few months earlier.
-From Utah - Check
-Work remotely from home office - Check
-Work for a software company in Utah - Check
-Husband studying at Duke - Check

I also immediately noticed her great sense of fashion. I pretty much knew we'd be besties.

We had so much fun in Durham! We got to experience Duke Men's Basketball win the National Championship together, we made the same friends and we just had the time of our life! Her husband, Matthew, graduate in 2015 from Duke Law and a few months later they moved to London for his job. It was very bittersweet. I was so happy they landed such a great opportunity but I knew I wouldn't get to see her very much due to distance. The summer they moved to London, they actually stayed in our townhouse with us for a little while they made preparations to head home for the summer. So we were legit roommates for a little bit! The 4 of us would have late night chats and during the days, Julia and I would work from home together. It was a party!

A month or so ago after Daniel graduated, we went to Europe to celebrate. I made sure one of our stops was in London so we could see the wonderful Lowes. The few days we were in London were the best!

Fast forward a few weeks to our most recent reunion, this time in Utah!! We recently moved back and Julia planned a trip home to visit friends and family. From our dinner chats on her mom's balcony to singing karaoke at a bar, we had a blast! Marie and I didn't start this blog until after Julie had moved to London but I knew I always wanted to feature her and her cute style! So of course we made time to do a mini photoshoot at her house!

Check out some of our favorite looks we're rocking this Fall!

Julia's look-
Julia got most of these pieces from Nordstrom Rack and I have to say that they are perfect for Fall!
It's all about the details!
It's great how the right sweater can both be comfy and classy!

My look-
A little staple dress can go such a long way!
I pull out this mustard dress every Fall because it goes well with so many different accessories
I am loving these two colors for Fall right now.
I swapped my scarf blanket for a boyfriend flannel which I ended up wearing when we went to the bar for karaoke. I love this look!
So simple and comfortable. My two favorite things.

Comfy, cute and simple for the win, right?!

I'm a big believer in blazers. You can add a blazer to almost any outfit and immediately make it look more professional.
I am part of the Talent Acceleration team (aka HR) for a software company in Utah. The environment is very casual and you could easily get away with a rocking tennis shoes, jeans and a t-shirt everyday. But ever since I was in grade school, I’ve tended to overdress. I take the saying “dress for the job you want” very serious, even as a kid.

Like I’ve mentioned in an earlier post, (here) I wanted to be the President of the United States when I was younger. When I realized that would be impossible since I was born in Bolivia, I made up my mind that I would be a lawyer. Of course I changed my mind in college and I truly found my love for business, all aspects of business. As you can tell from all these career choices, professional dress is custom. But work style doesn't have to be boring! As a working professional and a fashion blogger, my outfits reflect both of my passions! Now that I'm no longer remote and back in the office full-time, I can't wait to share more work looks with you!

Hi friends!

So my life has been a little hectic lately. In February I went back to Utah for a business trip. Well my business trip turned into a 3 month+ trip. But I really don't have any complaints because I've loved working back in our corporate headquarters and spending time with my family. I obviously wish Daniel could join me in Utah but he is super busy crushing PA School in NC!

So yeah - Milo came out to Utah with me (obvs) and has loved having so many aunts, uncles and cousins to play with! As I'm writing this, he's spending time with his Tio Benji (Uncle Benji) because I flew out to North Carolina for a few days to hang out with Daniel!
When I came to Utah, all I brought was a small carry-on suitcase. I'm surprised by how far my clothes have gone but in full transparency, I have totally hit up the malls for a few things here and there. But at the end of the day I like to keep it simple. Don't get me wrong, I love to dress up but I don't like to wear a million things. For example, this outfit is pretty much a one-two punch. Chambray dress + booties. And as the weather has gotten warmer I've substituted the booties for open toe wedges. But really, you can't go wrong with dresses like these. They are loose, comfortable and pretty much go with any shoes!

Fun and simple, right?
Ok so I know I haven't posted as regularly on the blog the last few weeks but no worries, I have some fun posts coming your way! And yes, a lot of them will feature Milo.
Stay tuned!

The 90s were so dope. Besides the music and TV shows, my sister and I were both born in the 90s.
This is Natalia.
I love Natalia. We're so much and love hanging out with each other. She has actually stopped by the blog before! You can check out her guest post here.
We were shopping one weekend and saw these 90s shirts at H&M. We knew we had to have them.

We also made these fun flower crowns. Each one cost $1 to make. DIY for the win!
All we did was hot glue big flowers to twine. SO easy and totally cute!

Natalia is the Converse queen so we coordinated our high tops. Add skinny jeans and boom you got a simple mod-throwback look.

 Outfit details:
Top: H&M

Jeans: Andie - J.Crew | Natalia - Forever 21

I love being her big sister.

Life is so much better when your sisters are also some of your best friends!
